Kellie and Jimmy had a beautiful June wedding at Sage Hall in Texas Old Town. All the crepe myrtles were in bloom and the day was just perfect. In south Texas, summer weddings can be, oh, rather HOT, but this wasn’t too bad! We really had terrific weather for their wedding day. I met Kellie through her younger sister, Whitney, who had hired me for her high school senior portraits a couple of years ago. It was great seeing Whitney as a college sophomore now, grown up and beaming throughout the day as the maid of honor. They obviously have a great relationship as sisters and it came through in every picture. I hadn’t met Jimmy until their wedding day. Wow, handsome guy! He was the nicest, most affable man, and he is in LOVE with Kellie. He only had eyes for her all day long. It was so sweet to watch and so fun to capture for them. They are truly a match made in heaven.
I love the groom’s cake! They had a replica of Kyle Field, the football stadium for Texas A&M with their names and wedding date on one side along the stands. Gig ‘Em!
Kellie chose a beautiful palette of navy blue and fuchsia for her wedding. Very classy and bold. They had custom coasters printed with room for guests to write down marriage advice for them. What a neat idea!
I loved watching Little Miss Priss look at herself in the mirror. Taylor was SO thrilled at being in Kellie’s wedding. She did a fantastic job as flower girl.
Kellie wanted a quick “first look” with her daddy. So special! Even when crying she was laughing.
Um, Jimmy you were so sweet and so emotional when you saw your bride, I started crying, too!

It was so fun walking around the grounds at Texas Old Town for their portraits. This property has amazing spots for portraits; the landscaping is beautiful and really affords some stunning backdrops.
