How does the album design process work? I’m glad you asked! Once I have revealed your wedding images to you, I get to work on designing your album. I will design it in a way that I feel best tells the story of your day. You may have purchased the standard album credit, and that’s great. However I will likely have to design it with a few more pages in mind because there will be so many amazing memories from your Big Day. Once I have shown you your wedding album slideshow, we schedule an appointment to make revisions together. We also discuss cover options, parent albums, everything. If you make upgrades (photo cutouts, two tone materials, custom imprinting on the cover, extra pages, etc), then we nail down the specifics, I revise the designs and confirm with you. Any final additional payment necessary must be paid in full before I order your albums. Once uploaded to the printer’s lab, I ask you to allow 4-6 weeks’ delivery. My goal for each and every bride is to complete her album order within six months of her wedding date. I don’t want you to celebrate your anniversary and wonder where your album is!

Both are handmade, professionally printed and bound books. This parent album contains 20 pages; the wedding album contains 24 pages. You can see the difference in thickness of the pages. Parent albums are a terrific, affordable option for gifts without sacrificing quality. Parent albums can also be ordered as Coffee Table Books, or a Guest Sign In book for the day of your wedding.
Here you can see the nice lay-flat style of the flushmount album. There is no “ditch” or cut in the pages to mar images.
Wedding albums may have either a square or rounded spine, depending on how many pages they contain, and the thickness of the pages (medium or thick). If creating more than 30 pages, using medium-thickness pages keeps the album from getting too heavy. Notice the nice textured leather of the cover! While this cover cannot receive custom imprinting, there are many options that DO allow imprinting. You may also further customize your album with two materials instead of just one, or add a photo cutout.

Parent albums must be ordered at the same time as wedding albums. Parent albums must be exact duplicates of the wedding album, except the covers. See the Albums and Books page for all cover options. Parent albums begin at $350 for an 8×8 inch book with 20 pages. If ordering two or more, you will receive a 20% discount (it’s almost getting the third one for free!). Each parent album comes in its own box for safe keeping.
