Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! Whether your Big Day is an hour away or in Italy, I’ll be there to capture your memories. Contact me for pricing and travel details.

Do you offer digital negatives in any of your collections?
Yes, after you order your handmade, archival-quality, one-of-a-kind heirloom album. Technology moves so quickly it’s hard to keep up with digital file storage that you will be able to use in 10 years. Imagine trying to watch your wedding video on VHS. You get my point. Your images are also available through your online gallery for print and/or digital downloads.

Do you offer albums/prints in any of your packages?
Albums are included in all packages. I’m very serious about every bride having a beautiful story of her wedding day in her hands once the party’s over.

What can I expect to spend on my wedding collection?
Great question. Let’s chat and find out what you anticipate for your wedding. That way I can help you determine what will best fit your needs. Contact me for details so we can get you exactly what you want.

What if my family & friends want to order pictures?
Yes! Within two weeks of your event, I email you a link to your SmugMug gallery. Please share it with your friends and family so they can view your wedding day images! You can also order prints directly from the site to be sent to your home.

What kind of equipment do you have?
Canon 5D Mark III camera body (2 of them, plus a back up Mark II)
35mm f/1.4
16-35mm f/2.5
50mm f/1.4
85mm f/1.2
70-200mm f/2.8
50mm macro
off camera lighting and on-camera flash

Do you have backup equipment?
Yes!

Will my images be posted on social networking sites?
Yes, some of the images will be posted on Facebook, my blog, Instagram, etc. I also regularly submit real weddings for publication. While I cannot guarantee your wedding will be chosen, you can increase your chances by making sure I have a complete vendor list as well as any stationary from your wedding (invitations, save-the-dates, programs, etc).

Is an engagement session included in any of your packages?
Yes, some packages include a portrait session! This may be an engagement or bridal, it’s your choice! Additional portrait sessions are available.

How do I secure my date? How much is the retainer fee?
In order to secure your wedding date, simply return a signed contract with non-refundable $1000 retainer to my studio.

When is the remaining amount due for the wedding?
Half the remaining balance is due 90 days before your event, and the rest is due two weeks before your event. I send out friendly email reminders to keep you on track. You will also see this written on your contract.

How long before I receive my photos after my wedding?

During busy seasons, it takes up to 4-6 weeks to receive the images.

Will we own the copyright to the images from our wedding?
No. I retain the copyright to all images that I take however, you will receive a personal print release to use the images for personal printing, social media, blogs, etc.

Who is the second photographer at the wedding? (this, assuming you’re the first…correct?)
Yes, I will be the main photographer. My second photographer varies; I pick from a small pool of  awesome professionals who own their own wedding businesses.  They must have a similar style to mine so you can’t tell who took what.

Any advice you can give me before my Big Day?
RELAX. Get a good night’s sleep the night before (and don’t drink too much alcohol! Hangovers are no fun). Eat something before the ceremony, and eat at your reception! Let your vendors do their jobs; they were hired to take care of everything and they do it very well. Your only job is to enjoy yourself, and the company of all your loved ones who gathered today to celebrate you and your spouse.
