Hi there everyone! I know it’s been a while since I have blogged. Obviously COVID-19 put the brakes on what promised to be a very busy year. =) The way we do events will probably always be at least a little different from now on; safety measures have taken on a higher level of priority. And that’s ok! I’m happy to show off a sweet and fun “drive by” baby shower I recently did…this kind of event is just one way folks are adapting to new ways of connecting and celebrating together while maintaining physical distance. We need connections! We need community. With masks and physical distancing, you and your friends and family can STILL have the milestone celebrations we have always had.
Raquel’s friends blew her away with a really special set up for her shower. She had no idea they were putting on such a display! It may have been in the triple digits, but these guys were set on blessing Raquel and her family after being isolated for so long. Raquel had a throne fit for a queen! And a queen she is. Her friends had beautiful florals, balloons, and special custom cookies to hand out to guests as they drove by. Several friends were present wearing masks and PPE to receive gifts from drivers, and to pass out the cookies as thank you gifts. It was quite the parade, and it knocked Raquel and her family’s socks off. They had a blast!
