Alamo Drafthouse Engagement Portraits

Becky and Blaze are the COOLEST. When we first met, Becky told me stories about how during Covid, she lived right across the street from an Alamo Drafthouse. When they began allowing twenty folks into a theatre to watch movies, she became a regular attender. They are self-proclaimed nerds who love board games, trivia, and movies. I suggested we do their engagement session at Alamo Drafthouse and they were totally enthused. YES!! I was ecstatic.

We met at a nearby park for some quick traditional portraits outdoors (in August, yikes!). It was such a beautiful day. School hadn’t started yet, so the neighborhood was pretty quiet that morning. We then proceeded to the theatre and started doing portraits in the main lobby at the ticket counter and then moved into the bar area and finally wrapping up in a theatre. We had so much fun! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Alamo Drafthouse also hosts Geeks Who Drink trivia (I’ve attended). On a hot summer’s day in Texas, this is a fantastic date spot. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as we did taking them. I can’t wait for Becky and Blaze’s wedding next year.
