Blake and Aline are good friends of mine. Blake is like the fittest guy on earth (sorry Matt Fraser); he’s one of the strongest guys at our CrossFit gym. And one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet! He brought this gorgeous girl to a house party of ours once, before we moved to our current digs, and I was blown away. I liked this girl! They’d met at work, she was from Brazil (sexiest country on earth), she had a son Isaac. I loved everything about her. And kudos to Blake for not only becoming a husband for the first time, but Dad, too! That hits a personal note with me, sniff sniff.
I suggested Chapel Dulcinea for their wedding as they wanted to keep it simple and intimate. Her family couldn’t make it from Brazil, so they weren’t doing anything big. Chapel D is gorgeous: sweeping view of the hill country and a nice indoor venue if you want to extend your day and hold your reception there on the property. In this case, we were just doing a quiet dinner at Chez Zee. It was a super emotional, sweet ceremony, and I think we all cried a little bit. The sun had set by the time we got to portraits, and thanks to my #1 Fan, CTO and Best Husband in the World who functioned as Human Light Stand, we got some awesome portraits. Boom!
