Amy & Kevin: The Lodge at Bridal Veil Falls, Spring Branch Wedding Photography

I’ve been anticipating this wedding since last fall when I met Kevin and Amy. These guys are so cool. They’re just so COOL. She’s a sexy nurse; he’s a high school English teacher sporting ink on his arm of banned books. Why are they not living in Austin. What I love most about them: the way they celebrated together. Both have waited a long time for true love. As their families mentioned through happy tears of how Happily Ever After has finally come, you could see just how relaxed these two are together. Man, when you’re with someone who gets you, life is just great. And that is worth waiting for. My favorite images of this day are during the reception, when Amy sang along to a rock ‘n roll number. Classic. She plays the sweetest air guitar. It was a gorgeous, warm day in January, in between these miserable freezes we’ve been having. Almost like Somebody Else was really happy they’d finally made it, too. <3

Venue: The Lodge at Bridal Veil Falls, Spring Branch

Yowza, that red hair and smokin’ eyes! I love Kevin’s style. This place has so many gorgeous places for portraits!Great group shot of the men by Krissy DavisI love moments like these, ha ha ha:Four very happy parents, thrilled that their kids just got hitched. Love!Being from south Georgia, I really miss the Spanish moss which is always present in our oak trees. Imagine my delight when I saw the afternoon light filtering through the moss here. I didn’t even realize it grew in Texas. Score!!
