Charlie and Sharron had the loveliest, sweetest wedding. They picked the Sunday after Thanksgiving for their wedding. Sharron is an elementary school teacher. We met at Kids’ Club when we taught Art together. Sharron loves kids–she REALLY loves kids. I’ve been waiting for news of her engagement for a while, so when she contacted me, I was so excited for her. We did their engagement session in Gruene and they had several portraits printed and displayed about the room. The weather was pretty awful but the great thing about Boulder Springs Event Center is, it’s large enough and beautiful to hold one’s ceremony indoors. And that’s exactly what they did. Kudos to Laura Best from Laura Best Events for pulling off a flawless event on such a cold, blustery day!
I got the girls to come outside for portraits right before the ceremony. I’m telling you it was freezing! Sharron was such a good sport. A nice breeze lifted her veil for me to get this image:These two girls were so sweet! They are cousins. They braved the cold and did everything I asked. Such little ladies!Sharron’s father is battling cancer–another dad! I’ve had two in a row. Despite his illness, he was beaming the whole day. It was obviously very special for Sharron to have her dad with her on her wedding day. I’m glad her prayers for his health were answered. They love each other a lot!Praying together with her family before walking down the aisle:I loved these decorations! Sharron had her students make drawings for her. Precious!Love this shot! Sharron had 2Tarts Bakery and Catering do a cookie sandwich tower. I couldn’t resist using them for the rings:
Congratulations, Charlie and Sharron! Have a very Merry Christmas!
