Dena and Matthew were married at the Chapel of Incarnate Word in San Antonio. The reception was held at The Gardens of Cranesbury View in New Braunfels. Dena and Matthew were so fun to work with. They were so gracious and laid back. Matthew is really into Indiana Jones, so Dena wore a garter sporting an Indiana Jones button, and had the groom’s cake created to reflect that theme. When it came time for the garter toss, Matthew ran to grab his Indiana Jones hat, and the DJ played the theme music while he knelt to remove the garter. So much fun! Dena, of course, was lovely. I loved her playful attitude, even in the midst of the solemnity and austere beauty of Incarnate Word Chapel. She was dancing behind her bridesmaids in the foyer while waiting for her father to escort her down the aisle!
