TJ’s senior portrait session at Avery Ranch Country Club and Southeastern Williamson Co Regional Park was a great mix of European cool vibes and baller track and field athlete. I could not WAIT to do his senior portrait session! TJ ran the 400 and 4×400 for his high school. I’ve watched this young man grow up for the last eight years or so, and it’s just so cool to him as a grown man, checking off this accomplishment. He has always had such a flair for personal style. I loved his blue hair, blue shades and blue track shoes. Killer style!! He also has a deep love for his faith community, and loves singing in choir. I’ve always loved TJ’s dry sense of humor.
We started out at the golf club on a beautiful spring afternoon. We didn’t have to walk far to take advantage of the beautiful grounds and the fountain. I think TJ pretty much endured this part of the shoot because he was really excited to head to the regional park and ditch his fancy duds for his track uniform. I was excited to get to play around with off-camera lighting and make some really dramatic images.
I hope you enjoy these images as much as I did taking them! I love showing off a high school grad’s passion and interest he or she pursued in high school. It is part of their stories. And I always love a good story. Congrats, TJ!
