Fall family portraits are a staple for folks looking to send out Christmas cards, but also have beautiful, quality portraits at this moment in life. Maybe you don’t take them every year, but if your children are small and growing quickly, I recommend you do! It’s amazing how much they change, and it’s nice to have those stages documented. Lauran is a good friend of mine and colleague in the event industry. She is a top-notch event planner and stays very busy. We squeezed in this session right in the beginning of December. I even took a couple of headshots for Lauran (doesn’t everyone always need to update that?!)
I recommend doing fall portraits earlier (as in, late October to early November) so you’re not scrambling to order cards among the rush of the holidays. Missed out on fall? Texas is covered in beautiful wildflowers right now, so spring and summer are great options, too!
