I love back-to-school energy! It’s so hopeful, and curious, and let’s be honest–a HUGE relief for moms and dads. It may still be hot as blazes here in south central Texas, but we can still believe that cooler temps are a’coming. What better to celebrate a new year (the REAL new year), than back to school portraits? It’s what I live to see on social media: pix of kids in their fancy new duds, trekking off to the halls of learning. New pencil smells! Trapper Keepers! Spelling bees! Recess!!
Cedar Park Library is a terrific, new public space in Cedar Park, Texas. Boasting huge greenspaces and lots of beautiful pecan trees, there are so many places to take portraits. I couldn’t wait to set up and capture some celebratory portraits. I’ll definitely be offering this again in the fall, and I DO recommend booking EARLY morning sessions (it’s just way too hot).
