Holiday portrait sessions are a great way to wrap up a year. Family portraits should be updated on a regular basis, especially if a family is growing like this one! Newly engaged couples, newlyweds and new babies were all included in this four generation family portrait we did at Mattie’s in downtown Austin. It is easy to capture the whole family, and then break a session down into individual families, couples and so on. Everyone loves to have updated photos of their parents, grandparents, or children. Family sessions for holiday cards are a great way to get it all in one fell swoop! Mattie’s has such a great space for warm, homey architectural backdrops, lush green space and beautiful oak trees. It’s certainly one of my favorite Austin locations for portrait sessions.
