I fell in love with Josh and Adam. These two guys met on MYSPACE, and celebrated their 18th anniversary of meeting and falling in love by making it official at Congregation Beth Israel on Halloween. I asked, “Are you guys fans of Halloween??” They laughed and said, “No. It’s our 18th anniversary, and the number 18 in Judaism is the numeric symbol for LIFE.” Well color me smitten! It was an honor to be a part of their intimate wedding at CBI. They signed a beautiful ketubah. Their best friend and brother sang at the end of the wedding ceremony and brought down the house. It was awesome!
They invited their family and friends to their backyard for a laid back, casual party. Fall in Austin is terrific time to be married. They are self-described “homebodies” and I suggested we do a few portraits with their “fur babies.” It was a marvelous event, and I was honored to be there.
