I had the pleasure of second shooting for Ashlee Newman Photography a couple of weeks ago. I hadn’t planned on doing any weddings in August in Texas. But, when Ashlee said it was the San Fernando Cathedral and reception at SouthWest School of Arts and Crafts, I was in! Kate went to high school with Ashlee so they’ve known each other a long time. Chris is from North Carolina. Having family from there, I really enjoyed hearing their accents all night. Kate’s main wish was that we could follow them from the reception to the Alamo and take some pictures there. It is a pretty iconic image, and I’m thrilled with it.
