I had the pleasure of photographing NACE Austin’s September meeting at Balcones Country Club, entitled “Food Photography and Styling.” It was taught by the amazing duo of food photographer Kimberly Davis, and stylist Darcy Folsom. It was great to see the collaboration between photographer and stylist to achieve beautiful work on behalf of a client, be that a restaurant, venue, chef or Austin craft brewer! Members enjoyed a family-style lunch while Kimberly and Darcy went through a real shoot, answering questions anyone had. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Balcones CC for set up and catering, The Powder Sugar Room for dessert that was food for the eye as well as the mouth! Gorgeous florals by Bloom and Leaf.
