Travis’ 40th birthday party at 800 Congress was Simply the Best! He and his husband, Martin, planned a splashy, sparkly event for their friends and family. Everyone was blown away by their special surprise guest, Tina Turner! Travis and Martin had seen actor Michelle Marshall perform in Las Vegas as a Tina Turner impersonator, and brought her all the way to Austin to put on a show. And it was EVERYTHING. Along with The Pictures Band, Michelle performed all of Tina’s greatest hits: Simply the Best, Nutbush City Limits, We Don’t Need Another Hero, What’s Love Got to Do With It, Private Dance, and Proud Mary. The dance floor was jumping all night long!
Jordan, David and Julie with Big Time Creatives put together an incredible event for Martin and Travis. Two words: EYE CANDY. They transformed 800 Congress, a terrific Austin venue into an elegant party space. Disco balls, a glittery disco backdrop for photos, sparkly streamers and aerialist performers pouring champagne. It was simply the best! Stunning florals, moody lighting, sumptuous fabrics all made for an unforgettable experience in the heart of downtown Austin.
