Susannah and I have gotten to be friends and colleagues through the wedding industry here in Austin, Texas. She is crazy fun person, creative, gorgeous, and passionate about her family. Can you tell I like this girl? =) They are thrilled to be expecting a baby girl next year. We grabbed this awesome sunny morning last weekend for a family mini-session. Holden is three-years-old and just stinkin’ adorable. Sometimes kids aren’t super excited to smile for a camera, but we bonded through a mutual love of Veggie Tales (confession: it has been at least 10 years since I’ve seen any episodes; I think the last one was King George and The Ducky). So imagine three grown adults and a three-year-old singing, “If you like to talk to tomatoes/If a squash can make you smile…” in a park on a Sunday morning and you pretty much know how I operate.
