Otto and Christy Gallaher are good friends of mine. They are the coolest family: Otto builds houses and is a very wise theologian (though he’d probably cringe if he heard me say that). Christy is an artist; she designed tons of cool posters at church to inspire people using different scriptures which meant something to her personally. Their three girls are all gorgeous, and have such unique personalities.
An example of Christy’s artistic sense: she bought this bench at Max’s Haus. She texted me its photo after I’d wished aloud that we “had a really cool sofa or something” for their portraits. Awesome!
These girls, these girls! Riley’s on the left and Mallory is on the right. They were so good helping their little sister, Jacee, pose for the camera. I hope Otto owns a shotgun, ’cause he’ll certainly need it in the next few years…
One of my very favorites from this session:
My other favorite, hands down. This kiddo is killer!
What a family! Love it!
Rachel, we are friends of the Gallahers from Colorado. My daughter, Tessa and Mallory were best friends. We went to the school where Otto worked, and were also neighbors, and shared a fence. We are traveling to Texas in early June, and will be sharing a couple days with the Gallahers. (we haven’t seen them in a few years.)
Your photos are amazing. They capture the joy, playfulness, and unity this family lives. I love them SO much, and am thankful for some photos before we see them. They will treasure these forever. I wish you lived in Montrose. We would hire you. You do EXCELLENT work.
Thanks so much Debbie! They are a great family.
