This is not your typical engagement session. I met Whitney nearly a year ago. This gorgeous gal was a newlywed–she and her husband, Troy, got hitched and eight months later he was off serving our country overseas. For a YEAR. They never had a “real” wedding. Whitney has spent a year planning their wedding and anticipating the return of her sweetheart.
We met last night at The Pearl in San Antonio for a portrait session. Troy has been home for exactly a week. You could tell he missed his girl! It was so fun photographing them. They hardly needed any direction at all. I can’t wait for their wedding in October. Welcome home, Troy, and thank you for your service!
