I’m so stoked for this young lady’s bat mitzvah in February! Abby loves science and plays volleyball for her school. She reminds me so much of my niece Sophie who is the same age and also plays volleyball. Abby was so self-possessed and friendly. We knocked out her portrait session in downtown Austin super quick! Perfect weather made it a great day to stroll around Butler Park and pick different, unique spots for portraits. Doing a portrait session before your child’s bar mitzvah is a great way to have his portrait for his friends to sign at the event, but also to commemorate this special time in his life with classic, fun portraits. I love mixing traditional portraiture with fun, silly moments too (as you will see with sweet Abby). Mazel tov, Abby! You are a beautiful and kind young woman.
