Whaaaat a year was 2017! Whew! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year like I did! I was able to road-trip home to south Georgia with my little sister for Christmas, and actually wear a knock-out dress and heels for New Year’s. Best of all, I celebrated TEN YEARS of marriage with My Favorite Guy, my CTO, my biggest fan and best friend. I really can’t believe it’s been ten years since I walked down the aisle on my dad’s arm in the church I grew up. I was so nervous, joining hands with Lanier while his dad performed our ceremony. I remember Hannah refused to smile showing her teeth because she was wearing braces at the time. And my niece, Sara, photo-bombed our First Look wearing nothing but a diaper and one shoe (it’s an amazing photo).
But I digress. THIS post is an homage and terrific THANK YOU to all the marvelous people whom I met and served in 2017. Engagement sessions, weddings, bar mitzvahs and corporate events: these are the moments which made 2017 a memorable year for me. I am deeply grateful and so pleased to have captured these special events for each family and couple. I love being an Austin wedding photographer and bar mitzvah photographer. I have the privilege of working with the best wedding and events vendors in Texas! I can’t wait to see what 2018 has in store!
