Diana and Derek’s Navy and Gold Wedding at The Terrace Club | Austin Wedding Photographer

Derek and Diana are just plain cool. They are so cool. They’re both tall, and athletic, and love doing sports together. Yes I was totally intimidated, I dunno why. =) Diana has Greek heritage (um, her name is a hint?) and there were gooorgeous elements in their spring wedding at The Terrace Club in Dripping Springs. For starters, her Nicole Miller gown stopped me in my tracks. I had a fit. The bead detail on that gown was just crazy. And she rocked it. All Dolled Up ATX did her hair and makeup and Livia is a rockstar, if you’re looking for a good stylist. Derek was so much fun–ALL of his groomsmen were a blast to hang out with, from their superhero socks to their hilarious antics throughout the day. I love it when folks just loosen up and have fun at a wedding. They had lots of little touches here and there, golden edged boxes and tiny gold dinosaurs peeking out of greenery, slim white blooms almost feather-light. It was so simple, yet so beautiful. It was a perfect day, and I was so honored to be a part of it. Thank you as always, Breanna McKendrick for working with me! We both had a double-header that weekend but a great team can always hunker down and power through. Seriously, I could not get enough of this dress!!We found just the right bit of shade to stage a First Look for the couple.
