Ellie had the coolest theme ever for her bat mitzvah: “Ellie Enchanted,” inspired by her favorite book, Ella Enchanted. I couldn’t wait to see how Jessica with EventfullATX pulled it off! We met at Bull Creek Park for her portrait session a few weeks before her bat mitzvah. I encourage clients to consider a separate portrait session several weeks in advance to have plenty of time to order a large print of their child so it can be matted properly for display at the event later. This may or may not include the synagogue; in this case, the synagogue portraits came later. Ellie wanted a forest kind of environment, and what better than one of Austin’s prettiest spots, Bull Creek? I brought along a chair for some portraits of Ellie reading her favorite book.
