The Johnson family’s holiday portrait session was the weekend of Thanksgiving. When you’ve got college-aged children, family portraits can be tricky to schedule. Holidays are usually a great opportunity because everyone is already going to be together. A little planning and a little flexibility to go a long way! We met at Bull Creek District Park at 1:00pm on a Sunday afternoon. One o’clock?? Not ideal! However, Bull Creek offers great canopy and it is in a little bit of a valley, so I knew we would be okay. What I DID not anticipate was a cold front blowing in that morning! Yikes!! Props to this amazing family for putting on their happy faces and enduring the cold. And I worked FAST.
Family pictures are so so important! Especially when children are growing up, and going to college, and getting engaged, and getting married, and having babies! It’s such a sweet season of life for this family. I was honored to capture these portraits for them. Planning your next family get together? Contact me to help you make the most of your memories.
