Megan is a beautiful, accomplished young woman. Her bat mitzvah occurred during the covid-19 pandemic, which meant no party for her. We were able to work around that however, and still capture beautiful portraits of her at Congregation Agudas Achim, and her ceremony at home. Typically, b’nai mitzvah ceremonies cannot be photographed, so I think it is really special that so many young people who lost out on a big celebration actually got really special images of this moment in their lives. There’s always a silver lining if you look for it. Megan absolutely crushed her mitzvah; it was a honor to be there and photograph it for her and her parents. Mazel tov, Megan!
