I traveled to New Orleans in mid October with my daughter, Hannah and son-in-law, Collin. They got engaged in this beautiful city; it is a special place to them. It was my first time in The Big Easy and I looked forward to doing some portraits there. Hannah and I strolled around City Park one morning. I was staggered by the beauty and scale of the sweeping live oak trees. I begged her to let us run home and grab Collin and bring him back for portraits there. I’d have loved to do portraits in the French Quarter but I was in love with the natural beauty of this park. We had so much fun, just casually strolling around, enjoying the day. It was super special to be with my two kids in NOLA, enjoying fabulous food and learning the history of this unique place. I can’t wait to go back! Destination portrait sessions are so fun to do! Laissez les bon temps rouler!
