Sarah and Tommy are a wonderful couple; they were a pleasure to work with. I loved their mid-Western accents and simple approach to their wedding: no big fuss, just a church ceremony at University Christian Church on UT’s campus, and celebrating with family and friends. Amy Mader with Platinum Weddings and Events did a great job–it felt like 100 degrees that day but every part of their wedding was executed smoothly and kept everyone comfortable. I loved Sarah’s bold orchid bouquet by Disch Events. Gorgeous! Summer weddings can be very hot in Texas, but Sarah and Tommy were eager to do any kind of portraits I suggested. I’m so glad we did, because the sunset outside the Radisson Hotel was amazing! And having a downtown Austin wedding gives you lots of options for portraits. Simon Lee Bakery did a great job on their cake and guests enjoyed a yummy late-night snack bar catered by the hotel. Many thanks to Lacey with Photography by Lacey Marie for assisting me!
