Lauren is an industry colleague of mine. She is a go-getter! She works at the gorgeous Fairmont Hotel in downtown Austin. Lauren wanted to surprise her family with a portrait session as a Christmas gift. I was more than happy to oblige! We patiently waited for winter to pass and spring to arrive (okay okay, I know Texas winters aren’t that long). Saturday morning in April found us at Brushy Creek Lake Park, a terrific location due to its size, multitude of backdrops, but in April it’s also blanketed in wildflowers. Wow! Lauren, her sister and parents had so much fun picking different combinations during a very relaxed portrait session. Yes, the wind was a bit windy, but I was patient, and shot a LOT, and just kept letting everyone know how amazing they looked. And they looked amazing! I love this family.
