Cerise’s Synagogue Portraits | Austin Bat Mitzvah

I dig Cerise’s style. This young lady loves dinosaurs, and also peacocks! We met on a Thursday afternoon for her portraits which preceded her bat mitzvah that weekend. Her family graciously coordinated to match outfits using Cerise’s love of peacock blue. She had her own personal yad which was given as a gift, and a shofar. These items, along with her own mother’s handmade kippah, and Cerise’s brilliant blue tallit, were just beautiful. I love setting up these articles to create a memorable still life for them to have. Synagogue portraits may or may not be taken on the day of your child’s mitzvah, depending on synagogue policies. Be sure to check with your congregation’s guidelines when scheduling your portrait session! Mazel tov, Cerise! I’m sure you crushed your bat mitzvah ceremony. Thank you for letting me be part of your simcha.
