Corey and Josh are adorable! I get so many fabulous couples from Chicago! Must be something in the water up there. =) They got the most perfect, beautiful, sunny day in November for their wedding at Westwood Country Club. Really! The ceremony on the marina deck had a beautiful sunset which made for some killer portraits. Corey not only wanted a First Look with Josh, but also with her dad! So we had not one but TWO super sweet, emotional moments. I confess I don’t always have a wedding party this size, so it was fun figuring out where to place 22 people. I ended up trading with the videographer: one of us held back a small tree while the other took her turn photographing or videoing everyone. It was perfect!
There were so many beautiful details to capture, and so many fun moments in the reception. I was completely blown away by Corey’s two uncles–during the band’s break they jumped on stage and rocked out to the Allman Brothers’ “Statesboro Blues.” Agh, they slayed!!! Many thanks to Lauren and her team at Eclipse for a flawless day, and Kurtis Kronk for assisting me that day!
