Jackson is one confident kiddo. He didn’t bar mitzvah at 13 like most people, but one of his best friends in Austin since moving here from LA convinced him that maybe that was something he wanted to do after all. His friends and family came from all over, including his rabbi from California, to have his ceremony and party at The Line Hotel. I don’t usually see many ceremonies but Jackson did a terrific job. We did a few quick family portraits and some of him alone after the ceremony before heading right into dinner. Stacy with Eclipse Event Co. created a cool, modern club atmosphere for a young man a little more grown up than the traditional bar mitzvah age. Jackson’s parents gave him complete charge, so apart from the traditional slideshow and photobooth, Jackson and his friends partied the rest of the night to his custom playlist while the grown ups just kicked back and relaxed. Every bar mitzvah is different, and really unique to the family involved. This was just about the most un-fussy, chill event I have ever done.
