Oh rain, we need you so much, and I have enjoyed all the benefits, like brilliant spring flowers and cooler temperatures, but man you make portrait sessions challenging! Kaitlin was marvelous; we had her engagement session with Zach planned months ago, and she gamely pushed forward to keep their date despite weather predictions. I’m so glad she did! The day was perfect. I’m having so much fun with Susannah and Amanda of 11:11 Events Austin, helping Kaitlin and Zach plan their fairy-tale wedding for 2016. This couple met at the University of Texas at Austin; Zach is a few years older, but Kaitlin managed to win his heart before he graduated. Can you blame him?? Kaitlin scouted out new locations for us in case it rained: she wanted to have her own version of her parents’ romantic habits. She brought their family picnic basket and spread out a lovely spring picnic for the two of them in a park on the east side of town. I can’t wait for their wedding next year; I think they are already living #HappilyEbnerAfter!
