Krystal and Tony have been anticipating their wedding day for a long time. I knew there would be lots of incredibly unique aspects to their wedding. After meeting them in person and literally begging them to hire me and then their amazing engagement session at Hardberger Park, I knew this would be a wedding for the books. Krystal’s family hails from Liberia, and Liberia was in full effect all day! From her bridesmaids’ gold headwraps and Grandma’s blue and gold regalia, to Krystal’s stunning reception gown and all the surprise African dances throughout the night, I barely had a moment to take a breath! Tony’s reaction to his bride coming down the aisle was the best–he laughed and applauded. How many girls can say her man applauded them because he was so taken by her beauty? Seriously. I want to be friends with these guys forever. Krystal’s mother is an ordained minister and performed their ceremony. Ah, so special! It was a joyful day rolling into singing and dancing and celebration all night. Guests enjoyed a moving ceremony outdoors overlooking the waterfalls at Hidden Falls and sumptuous orchids spilling over dinner tables inside. Evember Floral did a spectacular job. Krystal and Tony, I wish you a very long and happy life together! It was such a joy and an honor to be a part of your wedding day.
