Melissa and Brandon picked the best time in Texas to get married: bluebonnet season! We were blessed with terrific weather which made for optimal blooms this year. Vineyards at Chappel Lodge is the perfect place for a wedding–in the spring you get bluebonnets. In the fall, you get the vineyard! It was a sweet, romantic place for a down home country wedding for these lovebirds. Jenni and Anna with Couture Details Events did a great job planning Melissa’s wedding; Bouquets of Austin outdid themselves with fluffy pink and cream spring blooms. Yummy desserts by Polkdots Cupcake Factory. It was a great mix of blue jeans and boots, lace and flowers. Melissa told me she always dreamed of getting married barefoot, outside, with flowers in her hair. That sunny Saturday in April her dreams came true. Her brother sang as she came down the aisle, and Brandon was nothing but smiles; he was so happy. Thanks to the wonderful Breanna McKendrick for her assistance!
