Natalia had a wonderful bat mitzvah celebration this past May at Temple Beth Shalom and her party was at 800 Congress downtown. I love 800 Congress. It’s such a cool, urban space–a terrific palette for whatever kind of event you have! Lauran with Waterloo Creative did an amazing job coordinating this elegant event for our young lady. It definitely was not the typical b’nai mitzvah decor! We had so much fun working together to capture her vision. Soft, lush florals and pink linens were Natalia’s theme, as well as custom ombre drinks for the kids. I think the bar tender was moving faster than I was with the Shirley Temples, ha! Guests had so much fun playing corn hole and ping pong, and there were definitely some dance battles happening later that night!
B’nai mitzvahs are so rewarding for me; I get to watch young people grow up as I serve their families again and again. And as always, I love seeing the Jewish community come together to love and celebrate a young person’s achievement. Mazel tov, Natalia! You and your family are the best!
