Sammie’s bat mitzvah was this spring at Temple Beth Shalom and The Renaissance Hotel in north Austin. Like many young men and women, Sammie shared her mitzvah ceremony with a friend. Go, team! They crushed it of course. We met that morning before her ceremony for synagogue portraits, and then again that evening for her party. Sammie’s mom did a bang up job coordinating and putting on her party. She surprised Sammie by having a custom neon sign of her name made. Love it!! It’s always fun for me to see family and friends come from all over the country to celebrate a young person’s rite of passage. The kids AND adults enjoyed great food, awesome music, games, a photo booth and hair tinsel. It was such a pleasure serving this amazing family. Mazel tov, Sammie!
