Natalie’s Bridal Portraits: San Antonio Wedding Photography

Natalie was one of my first friends when I moved here almost 10 years ago. Her family was MY family. Those were precious years, living down the street from the Baldersons. 🙂

She married her best friend, Jake, at Sisterdale Dance Hall in late September. They had an amazing photographer at their wedding (Jake is a fine art photographer so he has lots of skilled friends). I simply got to enjoy myself as a guest! It was awesome. As a gift, I did Natalie’s bridal session in late August. I chose The 1850’s Settlement in Bulverde. It is a sweet little place! Very rustic, with a nice big green field and low rock wall. The original structures built in–you guessed it–the 1850’s are still there. It’s a great place for an intimate wedding, a rehearsal dinner and definitely for portraits!

We went out on a late Sunday afternoon. It had been a beautiful sunny day with huge fluffy white clouds. As Natalie was getting dressed, I stepped outside and noticed a HUGE storm front rolling in. I panicked. We still had to drive 25 minutes to the venue! Fortunately, it did NOT rain on us. Even better, God blessed us with the biggest rainbow! It was spectacular. It made for some incredible images. Congratulations, Natty and Jake! I love you both.
