Samantha and John’s wedding is about a year away, but we grabbed the opportunity for engagement portraits this spring. It was entirely contingent on lavender being in bloom, which is a small window of time in south Texas. Rancho Mirando is utterly breath-taking. It offers stunning florals around the hacienda, as well as the lavender field and olive grove. For these two who are proud of their Italian heritage, we could pick no better place for their portrait session.
Samantha was keen to bring along her “baby,” Luna, as well. What a sweet doggie she is! I hope to see Luna at the wedding; we will see!
