Taylor and Michael are the sweetest couple!! We did their engagement session back on campus at the University of Texas in the spring where it rained almost every day, what a challenge! They were so gracious and relaxed. We immediately hit it off. I couldn’t wait for their wedding at Green Pastures Restaurant in downtown Austin. It’s such a darling spot: an old Victorian-style house turned restaurant with emerald green lawns, sweeping oak trees and peacocks! Funny story: at the end of the night as I was loading my equipment into my car, I accidentally set off my car alarm. It kept honking until I finally managed to shut it off, and immediately a cacophony of hoots sounded from the trees–it was the peacocks calling back! Anyway. Maybe you had to be there. =)
Taylor was the epitome of elegance and class. Her wedding was a simple gathering of friends and family, done intimately and done well. Her blush, pink and soft green palette will never go out of style; the boys looked so handsome in their crisp black next to the bridesmaids’ chiffon gowns. Photosynthesis Flowers did a beautiful job with all the florals, and Nick with Texas Pro DJ did a phenomenal job keeping the guests jammin’ on the dance floor (seriously, Texas Pro is one of the best dj’s in Austin). A huge thank you to Lacey of Photography by Lacey Marie for helping me photograph this lovely event!
Congratulations, Taylor and Michael! I wish you all the best!!
