Most folks think of South Congress for a fun session reflecting ATX culture, and that’s totally a blast. But I think a lot of people forget to consider the “downtown” gem our city has created over the past several years up north in the Domain. As a resident of Cedar Park, I love the 20-minute drive to the Domain versus a nail-biting, high blood pressure inducing 45-minute crawl to 6th Street downtown. Can I get a witness?!
Gavin is a super sweet kid. I’ve been friends with his mom for years and literally watched this handsome young man grow up. We strolled around Rock Rose Avenue and hit different spots I had scouted before they arrived. The Domain offers so many various options of architecture, murals, landscaping and lighting. You can shoot there practically any time of the day! And parking is never an issue due to all the many (free!!) convenient parking garages.
Gavin was a dream to photograph. He has definitely got the smolder nailed. I’m so proud of him and can’t wait to see what he does in the next season of his life. xoxo
