Casey + Jake = Married! (Boulder Springs Event Center, New Braunfels TX Wedding Photographer)

Casey and Jake found me through my connection to Jake’s cousin, Zach. Zach and my Good Best Girl, Hannah, were in theatre together in high school. See? Parent volunteerism works!! Anyway, this awesome couple had a fun-packed, gorgeous spring wedding at Boulder Springs in New Braunfels, TX.  Mary with Blessed Events did a terrific job keeping everything running smoothly. It’s hard to have a more perfect day for a wedding than May in south Texas. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Rutherford!

Catering: Clear Springs Catering, New Braunfels TX
Cake: Beyond Cakes, Schertz TX
Wedding gown and groom’s attire: Celebrations, New Braunfels TX
DJ and live music: Northen Lights DJ and Fran Bradrak
Wedding Singer: Zach Butler
Florist and Rentals: Blessed Events
Hair and Makeup: Felger and Friends, New Braunfels TXWe did a really quick “first look” for Casey’s dad….I love how they reacted to one another!I love this story! Casey and Jake got to know each other from working at Texas Tubes. If you’ve never been here, it’s what New Braunfels is known for: tubing the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers (also Schlitterbahn, the country’s largest waterpark and #1 employer of high school students during the summer). It was neat to see how they combined the nod to local culture and how they met, along with their undergrad and graduate schools, University of Texas at Austin, and Texas Tech in Lubbock. While Jake waited enthusiastically for his bride, there was a hilarious, precious moment after the ring-bearer came down the aisle with Mommy.Apparently, Big Sister didn’t think much of walking down that long aisle all by herself. So Mom went to the rescue! And Little Bro had to go back ’em up.Love these guys! Such a great tribute to summer fun in south Texas.I’d never seen this before, but Mary with Blessed Events suggested it. They cleared the room and sent all the guests outside while Casey and Jake danced their last dance. It was the sweetest, most tender moment. All I asked was that they stay under the chandelier. And then got as far away as I could, which was pretty easy in an empty ballroom. Yep, I have the best job in the world!

The last picture is my favorite. Such a wonderful moment….the only thing that made me cry in this whole journey was that picture…the love is palpable. Fabulous pictures of a wonderful event.
